Alé BTC Ljubljana is a cycling team in women's cycling based in Sorgà ( Italy ).
The team was founded for the 2011 season and was initially based in Cornaredo . It was directed by Francesco Fabbri . Name sponsors were MCipollini , the bicycle brand of the former road cycling sprinter Mario Cipollini , and the landscape architecture company Giambenini . Another main sponsor was Gauss , a manufacturer of magnetic production elements , who sponsored the Gauss team until 2011 , which merged with the MCipollini Giambenini team for the 2012 season . In 2013, the sportswear manufacturer Giordana was the second name sponsor. It was replaced in 2014 by the sportswear manufacturer Alé.
For the 2010 season, the team received a license as the UCI Women's WorldTeam and BTC Ljubljana , previously sponsoring the UCI Women's Team BTC City Ljubljana became the second name sponsor.
