Manilla is a small town (with the status " City ") in Crawford County in the US -amerikanischen State Iowa . In 2010 Manilla had 776 inhabitants, the number of which increased to 789 by 2013.

Manilla is located in western Iowa on the western headwaters of the Nishnabotna River , a left tributary of the Missouri . This forms the border between Iowa and Nebraska around 90 to the west . The intersection of the three states of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota is 150 km to the northwest.
