Manly is a small town (with the status " City ") in Worth County in the US -amerikanischen State Iowa . In 2010 Manly had 1,323 inhabitants, the number of which decreased to 1,313 by 2013.

Manly's beginnings go back to 1877 when a railroad crossing was built here. The settlement was named Manly Junction after a rail freight agent. In 1898 the place was incorporated as the Town of Manly as an independent municipality. The current status of City of Manly was given to the city in 1973.
