Manuel Fischer (born September 19, 1989 in Aalen ) is a German football player .

Career

societies

Fischer began his career as a football player at SV Ebnat from whose C-youth he moved to SSV Ulm 1846 in 2002 . In 2004 he moved on to the youth department of VfB Stuttgart . In 2005 he returned to SSV Ulm after a rather disappointing season - also due to an injury. The following year he started again in the A-youth of VfB Stuttgart and gained his first experience in the second team of VfB Stuttgart in the Regionalliga Süd in the 2006/07 season - still as an A-youth.

On December 12, 2007 he made his professional debut in the Champions League against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou , and on April 16, 2008 he made his debut in the Bundesliga against 1. FC Nürnberg . In his second assignment he scored his first league goal on May 17, 2008 (34th matchday) against Arminia Bielefeld . Since then, however, he has not gotten beyond short appearances for the Bundesliga team and has mainly been in action for the second team.

On July 4, 2008, Fischer signed a professional contract with VfB dated until June 2011. On January 6th, 2009 the VfB awarded Fischer to the TuS Koblenz until the end of June 2009 . After his return, Fischer played for VfB's second team.

For the 2010/11 season , Fischer was awarded a one-year loan to Wacker Burghausen . After a serious knee injury shortly after the start of the season, he was operated on on the meniscus and cruciate ligament . On January 31, 2011, the loan agreement was terminated prematurely.

After Fischer had completed his rehab in Stuttgart, he played for the second team of 1. FC Heidenheim until the end of the 2010/11 season . He signed a loan contract, through which he was eligible to play for the association league team. Fischer played for FC Heidenheim II in the last six games of the season and scored three goals.

For the 2011/12 season, Fischer moved - with a two-year contract - to FC Bayern Munich , for whose 2nd team he was active in the Regionalliga Süd under coach Andries Jonker . He crowned his debut on matchday 1 on August 8, 2011 in a 2-2 draw in the away game against 1. FC Nürnberg II with his opening goal to make it 1-0 in the third minute of the game.

In the summer break of 2012 , Fischer moved to third division club SpVgg Unterhaching . He signed a two-year contract with an option for another year.

Since Fischer could not assert himself in Unterhaching as hoped, he moved from Unterhaching to SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the Regionalliga Südwest during the winter break . There he received a contract until summer 2014, which was then extended for another year.

In the winter break of 2014/15, Fischer switched to league competitor and promotion aspirant Stuttgarter Kickers .

After he was relegated to the regional league with the Kickers, he left the club in the summer of 2016. He then joined FC Homburg .

Even with the Saarlanders, Fischer missed relegation in the Regionalliga Südwest ; he then joined SSV Reutlingen in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in July 2017 . This contract was terminated after only one month for private reasons. In September 2017, the upper division tennis Borussia Berlin signed him . At the end of the year, he canceled his contract.

For the season he joined the regional futsal league team TSV Weilimdorf and thus plays in the highest German futsal league for the German futsal championship. At the same time, he competes for GSV Maichingen in the Böblingen / Calw district league, which is fighting for promotion to the seventh-class state league in Württemberg.

National teams

Fischer played for the German U-17 national team , among others . With this he reached fourth place at the U-17 European Championship in 2006 and was top scorer of the tournament with five goals together with Bojan Krkić and Tomáš Necid . On December 3, 2018, he also played his first international match for the German national futsal team in Stuttgart. Coach Marcel Loosveld's team won 2-1 against Switzerland.

Others

With the European U-18 team, Fischer won the 2007 UEFA-CAF Meridian Cup . He contributed two goals to Europe's 6-1 win over Africa in the first leg and scored once in the second leg in a 4-0 win.
