Marianne Schech (born January 18, 1914 in Geitau ; † July 22, 1999 in Munich ) was a German opera singer ( soprano ) and professor of singing .

Chamber singer Marianne Schech studied singing at the Trapp Conservatory in Munich. She made her debut in 1937 at the Koblenz Theater . There she sang in the opera Martha lowlands of Eugen d'Albert . After two years in Koblenz, the singer moved to the municipal theater in Münster . From 1941 to 1944 she was an ensemble member of the Opera House from Dusseldorf and then went to the opera of Dresden , where they remained until the 1,951th Then she was engaged at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where she worked until 1970.
