Martina Zinner

Martina Zinner (born January 8, 1972 ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Martina Zinner attended the Academic Gymnasium in Graz , where she graduated in 1990 . She studied German Philology , English and American Studies as well as theater theory and theater practice in a combination of subjects at the University of Graz , graduating in 2006 with a master's thesis on Schnitzler's Das weite Land . She received her acting diploma in Vienna in 1994 , and received training in improvisation with Roland Trescher , Per Smedegard and Randy Dixon, classical singing and as a speaker.

Since 1993 she has been a member of the ensemble at the Graz Theater im Bahnhof , some of whose performances were shown in coproduction with other theaters and festivals such as the Schauspielhaus Graz , the Steirischer Herbst , the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich and the Vienna Volkstheater . In 2016, for example, she played the role of Daniela in the world premiere of Die Fleischhauer von Wien by Pia Hierzegger at the Vienna Volkstheater. At the beginning of 2018 she was seen in the world premiere of Exit by Ed Hauswirth at the Linz Theater Phönix as Bea.

Since 2015 she has been teaching roles and scenes at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz .

She worked several times in film and television productions with the directors Götz Spielmann , Michael Glawogger , Wolfgang Murnberger , Xaver Schwarzenberger and Helmut Köpping . In 2004 she played Nicole in Antares by Götz Spielmann, the Austrian entry for the 2005 Oscar nomination in the category of best foreign language film.

In addition to her work as an actress, she was a singer and lyricist for my band from 1999 to 2006, and has been a singer and cornet player for Pfeffer and Co. since 2014 . Martina Zinner is a member of the Association of Austrian Film Actors .
