Mats Rosseli Olsen (born April 29, 1991 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Frölunda HC in the Svenska Hockeyligan since January 2012 .
Career
Mats Rosseli Olsen began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Furuset IF , for whose professional team he made his debut in the GET-ligaen , the highest Norwegian division, in the 2008/09 season . In his rookie year he scored a total of 50 games, ten goals each and ten assists. In the relegation, he and his team were relegated to the second class 1. divisjon . However, he himself stayed in the GET-ligaen, in which he received a contract with the top club Vålerenga IF . After two and a half years with the Norwegian record champions, he was signed in January 2012 by Frölunda HC from the Swedish Elitserien (now Svenska Hockeyligan ). For this he scored 27 goals in a total of 242 games by the end of the 2015/16 season. In the 2015/16 season he won the Champions Hockey League and the Swedish championship with Frölunda .
International
For Norway, Mats Rosseli Olsen participated in the junior division at the U18 Junior World Championship in Division I 2008 , the U18 Junior World Championship in 2009 , the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I in 2009 and 2010 and the U20 Junior World Championship in the top Division 2011 participated.
In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2012 , 2013 , 2015 and 2016 World Championships . He also represented his colors at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014 and at the qualifying tournament for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
