Michael Krausz (born October 2, 1954 in Afritz ) is an Austrian musician , composer and producer.

life and work

Krausz grew up in Vienna. At the age of ten he began his musical training on the cello , and since 1975 he has been studying electric bass. In the same year his daughter Esther was born, in 1976 his second daughter Daniela followed. In 1980 he completed his studies. In 1982 he began with arrangement and production, and later with composition. Mischa Krausz has played as a studio musician on around 60 records.

Mischa Krausz wrote and produced the Austrian contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 . Sung by Stella Jones , the world is turning upside down, reached 13th place. In the following year George Nussbaumer entered the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo with the Krausz composition Weil's dr guat got and came in 10th. Krausz also wrote songs for Maria Bill , Jose Carreras , Peter Cornelius , Georg Danzer , Defunkt , Hansi Dujmic , Jose Feliciano , Rainhard Fendrich , Alexander Goebel , André Heller , Ludwig Hirsch , Christian Kolonovits , Kottan's Kapelle , Gary Lux , Sigi Maron , Franz Morak , Carl Peyer , Erika Pluhar , Etta Scollo , Gert Steinbäcker , STS , Stefanie Werger , Wilfried and Ina Wolf .
