But he has other worries in jail and so the DiMeo family under Tony has to negotiate with Phil. Phil agrees to a deal that involves paying Hesh's son-in-law and is valued internally by Tony, but his plans to kill Christopher have not been forgotten.
Eugene Pontecorvo inherited over two million dollars from his aunt, which would enable him and his wife Deanne to dream of retiring in Fort Myers , Florida . He is put under pressure by her, who no longer wants to live in the vicinity of the mob, to implement the resettlement. His request to his boss Tony to leave the Mafia, however, is refused. After Eugene carries out a contract killing for Christopher, he is also put under pressure by the FBI, which has just lost an important informant. This also forbids him to retire in Florida. Eugene then hangs himself in his basement.
Junior's dementia leads him to believe that his old nemesis "Little Pussy" Malanga, who was killed six years ago, is fighting him.
