Mittelhausen is a district of the city of Allstedt in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

history
In a register of the tithe of the monastery of Hersfeld ( Hersfeld tithe list ), which was created between 881 and 899, Mittelhausen is mentioned for the first time in a document as a place of tenancy, Midelhusa in Friesenfeld . The place belonged to the Allstedt office .
With effect from October 1, 1945, Mittelhausen, which had previously been in Thuringia, was assigned to the Sangerhausen district of the Province of Saxony .
On January 1, 2010, the previously independent community of Mittelhausen was incorporated into the city of Allstedt together with the communities of Beyernaumburg , Emseloh , Holdenstedt , Katharinenrieth , Liedersdorf , Niederröblingen (Helme) , Nienstedt , Pölsfeld , Sotterhausen and Wolferstedt .
