Molino is a census-designated place (CDP) in Escambia County in the US state of Florida with 1277 inhabitants (as of 2010).

The CDP is affected by US Highway 29 and is located around 35 km north of Pensacola .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 1277 inhabitants were distributed over 518 households. The population density was 70.9 inh / km². 75.3% of the population identified themselves as whites , 20.7% as African American , 1.4% as Indians and 0.5% as Asian Americans . 0.9% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.3% to several ethnic groups. 2.0% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 30.6% of all households lived in 36.5% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 73.4% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.79 people and the average family size was 3.27 people.

29.5% of the population were younger than 20 years, 19.5% were 20 to 39 years old, 30.8% were 40 to 59 years old, and 20.1% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 41 years. 48.6% of the population were male and 51.4% were female.
