The Montenegrin-East Timorese relations describe the intergovernmental relationship between Montenegro and East Timor .

history

East Timor and Montenegro established diplomatic relations on September 24, 2010.

In the United Nations Support Mission in East Timor (UNMISET) from 2002 to 2005, Montenegro participated as part of Serbia and Montenegro with security personnel. Montenegro became the 192nd member country of the United Nations in 2006 , directly following East Timor, which entered the United Nations as number 191 in 2002.

The two countries do not have any diplomatic missions in the other country. The closest embassy of Montenegro to East Timor is in Beijing .

Entry requirements

East Timorese do not need a visa for Montenegro for a stay of 90 days. Montenegrin citizens also receive a visa upon arrival in East Timor.

economy

For 2018, the East Timor Statistics Office does not indicate any trade relations between East Timor and Montenegro.
