The Lithuanian-East Timorese relations describe the intergovernmental relationship between Lithuania and East Timor .

history

East Timor and Lithuania established diplomatic relations on September 27, 2013. In 2003 the foreign ministers of both countries, Antanas Valionis and José Ramos-Horta , met for bilateral talks in New York .

diplomacy

East Timor does not have a diplomatic mission in Lithuania. The East Timorese ambassador in Brussels is responsible .

Lithuania does not have a diplomatic mission in East Timor. There is a representation of the European Union in Dili .

economy

For 2018, the East Timor Statistics Office does not indicate any trade relations between East Timor and Lithuania.

Entry requirements

Citizens of East Timor are exempt from the visa requirement for the Schengen states . Lithuanian citizens also enjoy visa-free travel in East Timor.
