Reviews

James Berardinelli wrote on ReelViews that the film was a study of the ways Charlestown residents cope with internal and external challenges. There are many dialogues, but they are "captivating and intelligent". Their freshness and willingness to show the protagonists in unfavorable light would make the film remarkable.

The Lexicon of International Films wrote: “A film located in the Boston Irish district of Charlestown, striving for documentary accuracy, which atmospherically describes the desolate life in a poor working class suburb. He takes time to develop the cleverly thought-out, convincingly interpreted plot in order to gradually develop into an uncompromising thriller. "
