Mooslandl is a place in Gesäuse in Styria , and locality of the municipality of Landl in Liezen .
Location and landscape
The Rotte Mooslandl is located in a floodplain on the right bank of the Enns , at the lower end of the actual Gesäuse, the breakthrough valley of the Enns between the northern and southern groups of the Ennstal Alps , between Großkogel ( 1410 m above sea level ) in the southeast and Steinwand ( 950 m above sea level ) in the north, which already belong to the Hochschwab group .
The local area also includes Rotten Dörfl , Hafnerboden and Wieden , and the individual layers Eichmayr, Harschtl, Jakobsberger, Koasa, Mooswirt, Pumperl, Saurüßler, Urberberger and Vogelfanger, which are spread on the western slopes around the valley, and the Rotte Sulza with Ganser and Hemmermoser in the small side valley eastwards, and the Salzabauer at the Enns – Salza confluence.

Mooslandl is located directly on the B25 Erlauftal Straße , which flows south from Persenbeug on the Danube via Wieselburg , Scheibbs and the lower Salzatal into the B115 Eisen Straße , in the village the short connection L744 Mooslandlstraße branches off to the municipal capital Kirchenlandl on the B115.
Nature, sights and leisure infrastructure
The Radstatthof , a listed farmhouse on the former Proviantstrasse to [Lower] Austria , today's B25, towards Radstatthöhe ( 637 m above sea level ) is well worth seeing . First mentioned in a document in 1135, the oldest Landler Hof shows Renaissance sgraffito from the 16th century and a baroque sundial and moon clock .
The place is located in the conservation area Ennstal and Eisenerz Alps and Nature Park Eisenwurzen , the National Park Gesäuse begins little southwest above Hieflau, the nature reserve Wildalpener Salzatal on the eastern edge of the village. North of the village, on the B115, there is a winter linden tree, protected as a natural monument ( object no. 960 ).
In Mooslandl there is also the Landl amusement park with a swimming lake and the wetland habitat themed trail in a small remnant of moorland, which offers access to rare fauna and flora.
