Mykola Prokopowytsch Wassylenko ( Ukrainian Микола Прокопович Василенко , scientific. Transliteration Mykola Prokopovyč Vasylenko ; born February 2, jul. / 14. February  1866 greg. In Jesman at Glukhov , Russian Empire ; † 3. October 1935 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) was a Ukrainian politician and scientist, President of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (1921–1922) and Minister of Education and the Arts (May – October 1918).

In May 1918 he held the post of Prime Minister of the Ukrainian State , succeeding Mykola Sachno-Ustymowytsch . Mykola Wassylenko was a member of the Russian Party of Constitutional Democrats ("Cadets"). He was the husband of Natalija Polonska-Wassylenko .
