NGC 2663 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E3 in the constellation ship's compass south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 84 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on February 8, 1886 .
