NGC 2668 is a barred spiral galaxy with an active galactic nucleus from Hubble type SBab in the constellation Lynx at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 335 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 150,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 2405 .
The type II supernova SN 2003je was observed here.
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on February 7, 1877 .
