NGC 6667 = NGC 6668 = NGC 6678 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab / P in the constellation Hercules in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 125 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years across.
The type II supernova SN 2014F was observed here.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on September 11, 1883 .
