NGC 6751 = 6748 is a planetary nebula near Lambda Aquilae . NGC 6751 has an apparent magnitude of 11.9 mag. The nebula comes from the shed shell of a star at the end of its life. The expansion speed is around 400 km / s. NGC 6751 was discovered on July 20, 1863 by the German astronomer Albert Marth . Due to incorrectly recorded data, the observation by Edouard Stephan was added as a new object in the NGC catalog with the designation NGC 6748 on July 17, 1871 . However, the latest findings show that the object is identical to NGC object 6751.
