NGC 6759 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 118 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light-years across .
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 6764 .
The object was discovered by Auguste Voigt in July 1865 .
