NGC 7498 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 358 million light years from the Milky Way and about 95,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 7494 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on September 24, 1864 .
