NGC 7501 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E1 in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 578 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7499 and NGC 7503 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on September 2, 1864 .
