Nanikirata is an uninhabited island that belongs to the Abaiang Atoll in the Gilbert Islands in the Republic of Kiribati .

geography

Nanikirata is a motu on the northwest corner of the reef crest. From there the reef crown stretches further east. The next notable island is Nuotaea .
