life and career

The daughter of Lorin Dreyfuss, who grew up in Los Angeles and the relatively less well-known brother of Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss, had her first appearance in the film and television business when she was just under two years old. Back then, she was given a small guest role in the 1989 film Alles auf Sieg , in which, in addition to her uncle in the lead role, her father and grandmother were also used. At this point she did not appear in the credits of the film, unlike her other family members . At a young age, little Natalie did the same as her older family members and got into acting, initially in small productions. She enjoyed her education at The Rock School in Philadelphia , where she took ballet lessons and received extensive dance lessons. Further stations on her path to becoming an actress included the American Ballet Theater in New York City , where she also trained in ballet, and at the Joanne Baron / DW Browne School in Santa Monica , where she gained acting experience. She received further professional training at The Actors Spot in North Hollywood and The Berg Studios in Los Angeles. Dreyfuss, trained in ballet, disco, hip-hop, line dance, tango, modern, salsa, waltz, ballroom, club / freestyle, swing and flamenco was also trained in the soprano vocal range . After being active in ballet for over ten years, she had to end her career prematurely due to an injury and instead devoted herself to acting. While Dreyfuss was previously used in an unknown number of episodes of Whatever in 2000 , it did not make any notable film or television appearances over the years, but has since been used in various theater productions and only came from 2007 / 08 back to the screen as she celebrated her breakthrough too. Theatrical appearances that she has completed in the course of her acting career to date have included in With or Without You at the White Fire Theater , in Diary of a Catholic School Dropout at the Avery Schreiber Theater , founded in 2003 , and in the plays La Fille , Sleeping Beauty and Snow White in Conejo Valley Civic Center . While she took on the role of a fairy in the penultimate play , she was Snow White in the lead role of the same name.

In addition, Dreyfuss can look back on numerous appearances in commercials over the years. She has worked for brands and companies like Apple iPhone , McDonald’s , T-Mobile ( Watching You ), Peter Piper Pizza and Payless . As already mentioned before, Natalie Dreyfuss only got her real breakthrough in 2007 and 2008. In 2007 she was used in one episode each of Burn Notice and Life , and she also made a guest appearance in the movie The Legacy of the Secret Book . In addition, she could be seen in at least two episodes of the series Connected, which was mainly produced for the Internet , before it made other well-known appearances in the following year. So this year she was in the main or rather supporting roles of the films 33 Griffin Lane , Childless and The Nanny Express and this year also made a short appearance in an episode of the long-running television series The Shield - Law of the Violence . Furthermore, she made it from this year on as one of the main characters in the cast of Rita Rockt , where she appeared in all 40 published episodes as Hallie Clemens , the daughter of Rita Clemens (played by Nicole Sullivan ) and Jay Clemens ( Richard Ruccolo ) was seen. Although the series was canceled the following year, Dreyfuss was also in the music video for Kristy, Are You Doing Okay? , a single from The Offspring in 2008 and 2009 in the lead role. The video was directed by Lex Halaby , who has worked with numerous well-known artists. After the only temporary success with Rita Rockt , she was not used again in other productions until 2010 and was also seen in an episode of Lie to Me . She recorded another engagement with Glory Daze , where she has cast the role of Julie , Jason Wilson's ( Drew Seeley ) friend, in seven episodes since 2010 . In an interview, she said that she had no close contact with her famous uncle, especially since she grew up with her later single mother. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild .
