Natalija Wiktoriwna Dowhodko ( Ukrainian Наталія Вікторівна Довгодько ; born February 7, 1991 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian rower who, together with Kateryna Tarassenko , Anastassija Koshenkowa and Jana Dementjewa, won the gold medal for Ukraine after the 2012 Olympic double victory realized the collapse of the Soviet Union .

Athletic career

Natalija Dowhodko was eighth in the single at the 2007 Junior World Championships , ninth in 2008 and seventh in 2009. In 2010 she finished sixth in the four-four at the U23 World Championships , and in 2011 she was eighth in the single. At the European Championships in 2011 , she finished fifth in the single. At the start of the 2012 World Cup season, she finished seventh in a double scull. At the second World Cup regatta, she moved into the quadruple scull for Olena Burjak , with which she won the second and third World Cup regattas . This was followed by the Olympic victory on Dorney Lake and the victory at the European Championships in Varese. In 2013 Dowhodko competed again in the one. After a fifth place at the European Championships , fourth place at the U23 World Championships and ninth place at the World Championships . In 2014 Dowhodko was in a ninth place at the European Championships .

Honors

On July 25, 2013, she was the President of Ukraine the Ukrainian Order of Merit 2nd class for achieving high sports results on XXVII. World Summer Universiade awarded in Kazan.
