The National Shooting Center ( NSC ) (formerly Bisley Camp ) is a shooting range in Bisley in the British county of Surrey . The facility is owned by the national shooting association NRA .

In 1890 the national championships were held at Bisley Camp after the NRA moved its headquarters from Wimbledon , London , to Bisley . During the Olympic Games in London in 1908 and 1948 , shooting competitions and modern pentathlon shooting were held on the facility. During the Commonwealth Games in 2002 , the facility was also used for shooting competitions. Sports shooting should initially take place at the National Shooting Center in Bisley . The IOC urged not to have too many competitions outside of London, so the Royal Artillery Barracks was chosen .
