Naxos and Little Cyclades ( Greek Νάξος και Μικρές Κυκλάδες Naxos ke Mikres Kyklades ) is a Greek municipality that was newly formed in the course of the Greek administrative reform in 2010 from the two municipalities of the island of Naxos and the four municipalities of the Lesser Cyclades . The administrative seat of the municipality is the city of Naxos on the island of the same name. Together with Amorgos , the municipality forms the regional district of Naxos , which sends 4 members to the 51-member regional council of the South Aegean region .
Administrative division
The municipality is divided into 6 municipal districts (which correspond to the municipalities from 1997 to 2010) and these into 6 urban districts and 20 local communities, the population figures come from the results of the 2011 census.
