history

The publishing house was founded in 2004 by David Neufeld, a former Mennonite pastor, in Regensburg . From 2005 to June 2017 the publishing house was based in Schwarzenfeld (Upper Palatinate). The move to Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony took place in July 2017 . In addition to the publisher, Neufeld Verlag has six employees, mostly part-time. The publisher brings ten to fifteen new publications onto the market every year.

The Neufeld Verlag motto is: "Imagine a world in which everyone is welcome!". Due to its Christian orientation, the publishing house also focuses on the subject of “extraordinary people” / “people with disabilities”.

The program of the Neufeld Verlag includes Christian non-fiction books and biographies, stories and children's books. In addition, the A little extra calendar with images of children and adolescents with Down syndrome has become an integral part of the program. The available range includes around 120 books and around 80 e-books.
