Ngerechur (also: Aruguru-tō , Garakakurao To , Ngaregur , Orocur , Urocur ) is a small offshore island in front of Ngarchelong , which is in the north of the Pacific island state of Palau , approx. 20 km north of the capital Melekeok .

geography

The island, together with the neighboring Ngerkeklau, forms the northern tip of Babeldaob . To the north it is through the Kawasak North-South Passage from Ngkesol Reef separately (Yengel Reef). Administratively, the island belongs to the Palau state of Ngarchelong . It is part of the Ngerkelau and Ngerechur Islands Conservation Area .
