Niemysłowice ( German Buchelsdorf ) is a place in the Gmina Prudnik in the powiat Prudnicki in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

Geographical location
The Angerdorf Niemysłowice is located in the south of the historical region of Upper Silesia . The place is located about two kilometers northwest of the municipal seat and the district town Prudnik and about 51 kilometers southwest of the voivodeship capital Opole .
Niemysłowice lies in the Nizina Śląska (Silesian Plain) within the Płaskowyż Głubczycki (Leobschützer Loesshügelland) . The state road Droga krajowa 41 runs through the village .

Neighboring towns of Niemysłowice are Rudziczka ( Riegersdorf ) in the northwest, Czyżowice ( Zeiselwitz ) in the northeast, the municipality seat Prudnik ( Neustadt OS ) in the southeast and Szybowice ( Schnellewalde ) in the west.
history
Buchelsdorf was laid out as a forest hoof village in the second half of the 13th century and settled with German colonists. The place was first mentioned in 1305. In 1568 a church was built in the place.
After the First Silesian War in 1742, Buchelsdorf and most of Silesia came to Prussia .
After the reorganization of the province of Silesia , the rural community of Buchelsdorf belonged to the district of Neustadt OS in the administrative district of Opole from 1816 . In 1845 the village had a farm, a mill, a Catholic church, a Catholic school, two taverns and another 121 houses. In the same year, 856 people lived in Buchelsdorf, 199 of them Protestants. In 1846 a Protestant school was established in the village. In 1855, 848 people lived in Buchelsdorf. In 1865 there were 30 farmers, 19 gardeners and 75 cottagers as well as a mill. The Catholic school was attended by 200 students in the same year. The evangelical believers were parish in Neustadt OS. In 1874 the Buchelsdorf district was founded, which consisted of the rural communities of Achthuben, Buchelsdorf and Siebenhuben and the Buchelsdorf estate. In 1885 Buchelsdorf had 1018 inhabitants.
In 1933 there were 1112 people in Buchelsdorf and 1101 in 1939. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neustadt OS
In 1945 the previously German town of Buchelsdorf came under Polish administration and was renamed Niemysłowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the powiat Prudnicki .
Attractions
- The Roman Catholic Church of Anna (Polish Kościół św. Anny ) was built in 1568 as a two-aisled hall church in the Renaissance style. The building was donated by Magdalena von Würben.
