The Nikon D2H ("H" for " high speed ") is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Nikon , which was launched in November 2003. The manufacturer designed them specifically for high-speed photography such as sports photography .
technical features
The self-developed 4,1 megapixels - JFET -LBCAST - image sensor delivers images with a maximum of 2464 × 1632 pixels. It has a size of 23.1 mm × 15.5 mm (manufacturer designation DX format ) and requires a format factor of approx. 1.5.
The camera allows 8 pictures per second with up to 25 pictures in a row in RAW or NEF mode. Their release delay is 37 ms.
Model variant Nikon D2Hs
In 2005, the manufacturer introduced the Nikon D2Hs model .
The camera has the same image sensor as the D2H model described above . However, it has some modified and further developed equipment features, such as the color matrix measurement, the monitor, 10 menu languages, a list of the settings last used, a world clock and support for Exif 2.21 and the sYCC color space. It can take 40 RAW / NEF images in a row.
The D2Hs model is externally recognizable by a modified vertical format handle and memory card compartment cover .
equipment
Wi-Fi transmission module
With the WT-1 Wi-Fi transmitter module , which is screwed under the camera, the D2H camera model is able to transmit images directly via FTP in accordance with the IEEE 802.11b WLAN standard .
The WT-2 module is offered for the D2Hs model . It also supports IEEE 802.11g and can transmit images at a speed of up to 54 Mbit / s (6.7 Mbyte / s). The wireless remote control of the camera is also possible with the accessory.
Lenses
The following lenses can be used with the camera:
- AF , AF-D , AF-S , AF-G and DX lenses can be used without restrictions.
- The autofocus does not work with Ai-P lenses, all other camera functions are supported.
- On Ai rebuilt, original Ai - Ai-S - Series E - and F3AF lenses allow only automatic timer, but no autofocus and no Automatic programs, as the camera can not affect the lens iris. After entering the lens data, these lenses can be used like CPU lenses.
- Non-Ai lenses cannot be used.
