The Nikon D60 is a digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Nikon , which was launched in March 2008 as the direct successor to the D40X . The manufacturer aimed them at entry-level photographers .

technical features

The 10,2- Megapixel - Image Sensor delivers images with a maximum of 3872 × 2592 pixels. It has a size of 23.6 mm × 15.8 mm (manufacturer designation DX format ).

Lenses that are to be operated on the camera must have their own autofocus motor if they are to focus automatically.

The camera contains the Nikon EXPEED image processor, which is also used in other models from the manufacturer. It also has the following features:

  • The stop-motion function enables the creation of time-lapse sequences from a series of images
  • Image sensor cleaning
  • Vertical information display, the information displays are automatically rotated when changing to portrait format
