Austria took part in the rendezvous races in Johannisbad in the Czechoslovak part of the Giant Mountains, which were subsequently declared to be the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1925 , with a delegation of at least 10 athletes.

Three other Austrian skiers, including Sepp Bildstein and Hans Mayringer , both from Ö.WSC Vienna and the Graz Harald Paumgarten ( VSS Graz ) said on nominations, but do not seem to show up in results. It must be noted that another Austrian had taken part in the endurance run over 50 km, but could not finish the competition and therefore does not appear in the ranking.

The most successful Austrian participants were the ski pioneer Peter Radacher sen. from Mühlbach am Hochkönig in the state of Salzburg with a good 7th place in Nordic combined and 11th place in cross-country skiing over 18 km, as well as Heinz Hinterauer from Salzburg with 12th place in ski jumping and 14th place in Nordic combined.
