Norway took part in the 6th Nordic World Ski Championships , which took place from February 5 to 10, 1929 in Zakopane , Poland , with 10 skiers in the official individual competitions.

The Norwegians mainly competed in ski jumping and Nordic combined and were able to win five out of a possible six medals for their country in these two competitions. Sigmund Ruud crowned himself on the Wielka Krokiew for ski jumping world champion . Hans Vinjarengen won the world title in Nordic combined .
