Nový Dvůr (German Neuhof ) is a district of the Chrášťany municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers northwest of Rakovník and belongs to the Okres Rakovník .

geography

Nový Dvůr is located in the Rakovnická kotlina ( Rakonice Basin ) in the Rakonice Hills. The village lies on the right side of the Novodvorský creek. To the north rises the Zadní Houlice (420 m), in the east the Kozlov (411 m), to the west the Vápenice (429 m) and in the north-west the Cikán ( Gypsy height , 437 m). The road I / 6 / E 48 runs north of the village between Prague and Karlovy Vary .

Neighboring towns are Povlčín, Milostín and Nesuchyně in the north, V Kozlové, Hředle and Krupá in the Northeast, Pečárkovský Mlyn and Krušovice the east, Podhůrka, Lišany , Ovčín and Lužná in the southeast, Bory, Olešná and Chrášťany the south, Kněževes , Keblany, Zderaz and Heřmanov in the south-west, Hokov , Hořesedly and Nová Ves in the west and Vlkov, Rozkoš, Veclov, Svojetín and Janov in the north-west.

history

Between 1690 and 1692 the owner of the Kroschau estate , Helfried Freiherr von Kaiserstein, had a new Meierhof built north of Kroschau, which was named Neuhof . In 1700, Peter Ernst von Mollart acquired the Kroschau estate by marrying Marie Ludmilla von Kaiserstein. Later, Peter Ernst and Johann Nepomuk von Mollart owned the rule together. From 1734 the latter was the sole owner, in 1741 his sister Maria Anna Countess Meraviglia inherited the property. In 1776 Maria Anna's widower Johann Stephan Graf Meraviglia inherited the Woleschna estate, followed three years later by his son Anton Graf Meraviglia-Crivelli. He had a village with six chalets built near Neuhof. In 1808 Anton Count Meraviglia-Crivelli left the rule to his wife, Eleonora née Countess von Traun . In 1818 her son Count Anton Meraviglia-Crivelli inherited the Woleschna reign. In 1836 he sold the manor for 220,000 guilders and 500 ducats of key money to Karl Egon II zu Fürstenberg , who struck Woleschna to his united lordships and estates of Pürglitz , Kruschowitz , Nischburg , Wschetat , Skřiwan and Podmokl .

In 1843 Neuhof and Neudorf / Nowý Dwůr consisted of 16 houses with 140 inhabitants. In the village there was a farm, a sheep farm and a keeper's house. The parish was Woleschna . Until the mid-19th century was Neuhof to the rule Křivoklát connected landtäfligen servants allodial Woleschna.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Novy Dvur / Neuhof 1850 a district of the municipality Chrášťany in county and judicial district Rakonitz. After the death of Karl Egon II zu Fürstenberg in 1854, his second-born son Max Egon I inherited the Pürglitzer estates. In 1918 the Fürstenberg family sold the Olešná chateau and manor to the town of Rakovník . As a result of the Munich Agreement , Nový Dvůr became a border town with the German Empire from 1938 to 1945. During the last days of the Second World War, the Chrášťany volunteer patrol arrested the Gestapo member Rudolf Vlček from Kladno who was involved in the Lidice massacre near Nový Dvůr on May 9, 1945 . The Red Army occupied the village the next day.

In 1991 the village had 38 inhabitants, in the 2001 census there were 34 people in the 25 houses in Nový Dvůr. Nový Dvůr is a hop growing region.
