OSK Malaysian Open 2000

The Osk Malaysian Open 2000 took place from July 5th to 9th, 2000 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2000/01 and belonged to Category 2 Star . It was endowed with US $ 20,500.

Defending champion was Simon Parke , who won the tournament when it was last played in 1995. In the final, Ong Beng Hee prevailed against John Williams with 16:17, 15: 6, 15: 8 and 15:10.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Kenneth Low a spot in the main draw.
