CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championship 2007

The 2007 CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championship took place from July 23-28, 2007 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the 4 Star category . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2006/07 . The prize money was $ 43,000 each.

The defending champions were Adrian Grant for the men and Nicol David for the women. Grant reached the quarterfinals that year. Mohd Azlan Iskandar defeated Stewart Boswell in the final 13:11, 11: 8 and 11: 4. Nicol David prevailed again in the women, she won against Tania Bailey with 9: 4, 9: 3 and 9: 2.

The fields of participation in the men's and women's competition consisted of 16 players each, four of which were intended for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Tricia Chuah each a spot in the main draw.
