CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championships 2010

The 2010 CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championships took place from July 19 to 24, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the International 50 category . The women's tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2009/10 and belonged to the Gold 50 category . The total prize pool was $ 52,000 each.

The defending champions were Amr Shabana and Nicol David . Shabana did not run again for the men. Mohd Azlan Iskandar defeated Tarek Momen 11: 5, 11: 6 and 11: 8 in the final . Nicol David again prevailed in the women, this time against Jenny Duncalf with 11: 6, 6:11, 11: 7, 10:12 and 11: 5. For Iskandar it was the third title win at this tournament after 2004 and 2007, for Nicol the sixth, all of them in a row.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. For the women, the main field also comprised 16 starting places, four of which were for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Low Wee Wern each a spot in the main draw.
