Mamadou Obbi Oularé (born January 8, 1996 in Waregem ) is a Belgian football player .

Career

In the club

After playing for RSC Anderlecht in Belgium and OSC Lille in France in his youth , Oularé signed a three-year contract with Club Bruges in July 2013.

For the 2014/15 season he was promoted from the U-21 team to the professional team. On September 14, 2014, he made his professional debut in a game in the Jupiler Pro League when he was substituted on for teammate Nikola Storm . When he started in his second professional game a week later, he also scored his first goal. In his first professional season he was not yet a regular player, but came across competitions to 30 appearances (seven goals).

In the late phase of the 2015 summer transfer window, Oularé moved to the English Premier League club Watford FC . There he signed a five-year contract. According to media reports, the transfer fee was 6 million pounds (about 8 million euros). From there he was loaned out to the Belgian club SV Zulte Waregem , the Dutch club Willem II Tilburg , the Belgian club Royal Antwerp and the Belgian club Standard Liège .

For the 2019/20 season, Oularé moved permanently to Liège, although he had not played for six months due to injury.

In the national team

Oularé played four times for Belgium's U-18s from December 2013 to May 2014 (no goal). On April 16, 2014, he made his debut in the U-19 team in a game against Germany , scoring his first goal in the Belgian jersey. In the qualifying matches for the European Championship 2015 , he was used for the first time on October 10, 2014 against Luxembourg. In this competition he scored two goals in three games; overall he scored five times in six games for the U-19s. He made his debut for the U-21s on March 30, 2015 when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Moldova .
