The Ohio State Auditor is one of the constitutional offices of the State of Ohio . The incumbent is elected by the eligible population of Ohio for a four-year term. A term coincides with the Ohio governor's term . He is responsible for monitoring and checking the financial accounts of all government authorities. The current incumbent is Dave Yost , who took up his post in January 2011.
