Oliver Kruse
Oliver Kruse (* 1965 ) is a German artist.
plant
Oliver Kruse researches and builds subtle structures. He does this as a visual artist, professor of design and board member of the Insel Hombroich Foundation .
Using drawings, analog models, digital reconstructions and virtual constructions, Kruse gains insight into fundamental plastic processes, clusters and swarms . His works position insights and outlooks site-specifically in public space.
Oliver Kruse's works offer situations that can be walked and animated. In these, the world can be experienced and questioned three-dimensionally as a living, non-hierarchical network. His sculptures and architectures are also teaching and research units that intervene in their surroundings, explore them and provoke new types of associations. The knowledge that Oliver Kruse gains through his free work, he brings into social contexts, u. a. about his apprenticeship and the 20 years of helping shape the island and rocket station Hombroich .
