Algeria took part in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , Mexico , with a delegation of three athletes (all men) in nine competitions in two sports. No medals could be won. The youngest athlete was the boxer Rabah Labiod (20 years and 202 days), the oldest athlete was the gymnast Larbi Lazhari (27 years and 112 days). It was the country's second participation in the Summer Olympics after the 1964 Summer Olympics .
