Cameroon took part in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , Mexico , with a delegation of five athletes (all men) in five competitions in two sports. A medal (silver) could be won. The youngest athlete was the boxer Inoua Bodia (20 years and 315 days), the oldest athlete was the boxer Joseph Bessala (27 years and 178 days). It was the country's second participation in the Summer Olympics after the 1964 Summer Olympics .
