The Czechoslovakia took the X. 1968 Winter Olympics in the French Grenoble with a delegation of 48 athletes in eight disciplines in part, of which 41 men and 7 women. With one gold medal, two silver medals and one bronze medal, Czechoslovakia reached twelfth place in the medal table.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was ski jumper Jiří Raška , who became Olympic champion on the normal hill . This was Czechoslovakia's first gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
