history

The for Waldsteinischen Counts rule Oberleutensdorf related settlement Sandl was in 1654 in the Berni rula mentioned in writing for the first time. In 1680 Johann Friedrich von Waldstein raised the lordships of Dux and Oberleutensdorf to a family affide . In 1715, Sandl consisted of five properties. When house numbering was introduced in 1787, nine houses were counted in the mountain village.

In 1831 Sandel consisted of 10 houses with 55 German-speaking residents. There was an official forest overseer's house in the village. Parish was Ober-Leitensdorf . Until the mid-19th century remained Sandel of Fideikommissherrschaft Dux servants.

After the abolition of patrimonial , Sandl formed a district of the municipality of Oberleutensdorf in the Leitmeritz district and judicial district of Brüx from 1850 . From 1868 the village belonged to the Brüx district . The industrial upswing and the associated population explosion in the neighboring North Bohemian Basin at the end of the 19th century did not affect Sandl; Because of the remoteness, the number of inhabitants even declined. The residents lived from logging and did some agriculture, especially meadow farming and fruit growing. Since 1905 the village belonged to the newly formed judicial district Oberleutensdorf. Between 1910 and 1914 the dam of the town of Brüx was built to the northwest in the Hammerbach valley . From 1913 Oberdorf belonged as a district to the municipality of Rauschengrund . As a result of the Munich Agreement , the village was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the district of Brüx until 1945 . After the end of World War II, Sandl returned to Czechoslovakia and the German-Bohemian population was expelled . In 1947 the village was renamed Písečná. Together with Šumná, Písečná was incorporated into Horní Litvínov in the same year. Since the second half of the 1990s, single-family houses have been built on the slopes between Písečná, Chudeřín and Hamr, thereby connecting Písečná with the Litvínov agglomeration.
