Panora is a small town (with the status " City ") in Guthrie County in the US -amerikanischen State Iowa . In 2010 Panora had 1,124 inhabitants, the number of which had decreased to 1,092 by 2013.

Panora is located in southwest Iowa center below the Lake Panorama , a reservoir of about Raccoon River and the Des Moines River to the basin of the Mississippi belonging Middle Raccoon River .

The Iowa State Highway 44 runs in a west-east direction as the main road through the urban area of Panora and meets in the center on the southern endpoint of the Iowa State Highway 4 . All other roads are subordinate country roads, some unpaved roads and inner-city connecting roads.
