The Paralympic movement of Switzerland is the Swiss Paralympic worn. It is the umbrella organization of all Swiss sports associations for Paralympic and non-Paralympic sports. Swiss Paralympic is subordinate to Swiss Olympic .

Medals balance

With 221 medals won so far, Switzerland is in 24th place in the all-time medal table of the Paralympic Summer Games and with 153 in 8th place at the Paralympic Winter Games . The Swiss team returned from all participations with at least one Olympic medal. With three exceptions (1964 Tokyo, 1968 Tel Aviv and 2006 Turin) the Swiss team won at least one gold medal.
