The Switzerland took part in the 27-athlete 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

In addition to the athletes, other people, including coaches, doctors and supervisors, accompanied the team. The racing wheelchair athlete Heinz Frei was the flag bearer of the Swiss delegation at the opening ceremony.
