The United Arab Emirates took six athletes at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was Abdulla Al Aryani . The team's most successful athlete was the powerlifter Mohammed Khamiss Khalaf , who won a silver medal in the 90 kilogram class.
